Bob's Grill

We've been walking with friend Susie for over four years, sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the evening depending on our schedules. Recently we started walking the three-mile round trip to the YMCA and doing a 30 minute workout before heading back. We pass by Bob's Grill on this walk and realized we were probably the only three people in Pittsburg who hadn't eaten there. Last week we stopped on our return trip and had breakfast.

We noticed the Colgan sports wall that we were facing while we sat at the bar.
Megan, the photo in the upper left corner is from 1999!

Wish we could have gotten a better photo.

Chuck had the Breakfast Sandwich and a side of hash browns.

Rita had the Veggie Omelet with a side of biscuits and gravy (very good).

Now we can check eating at Bob's Grill off our Bucket List!

We've decided once a month to walk to other downtown restaurants for breakfast.
Otto's and Harry's, we'll see you soon!

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

We can't believe Christmas will be here in less than two weeks. We've been busy on Quincy Street!

We spent a fun evening decorating the Christmas cookies.

Okay, the wine and beer helped with the "fun" part.

 Cookies, anyone?

Christmas quilt is hanging in its place.

 Dante, you handsome devil!

 The frogs are decorated.

Barn birdhouse is looking good on the arbor seat.

Can't believe Katy, Jim and I used this sled when we were kids . . . a real antique!

 Quincy and the frog

 Quincy's snow boots!

 Beautiful Christmas cactus!
